In the Cookies Policy tab, you can enable/disable the display of Cookies Policy on the site, its expiration period, and the redirect link.
A cookie policy is a document that provides detailed disclosure about the types of cookies used on a website and their purposes. It will help your website comply with privacy laws like the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive.
You can also follow the step-by-step instructions below to add a cookie policy to your Shopify website easily.
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify Admin Dashboard.
Step 2: go to Online Store > Themes > Customize
Step 3: Click on Theme Setting > Site-Cookie
Step 4: you can find the setting here to enable/disable the cookie policy.
Step 5: you can set the background color of the cookie bar.
Step 6: Here, We Added 4 styles of cookie bars to display in your store, you can set anyone which is more suitable for your store!
Step 7: Set the Cookie bar Description!
Step 8: Set the description color.
Step 9: Set the Link title of the Privacy Policy or anything you want to add!
Step 10: Add a link to the page where you added the cookie policy!
Step 11: If you want to highlight that link you should set that text color differently!
Step 12: Set the cookie bar button Text like Accept, OK.
Step 13: If you want those who decline or disagree with your cookie policy you don’t allow to see your store then you should add a link to the decline button.
Step 14: Set cookie bar button colors that are suitable for your store.
Step 15: Save the Customization
Step 16: please, check your store at the bottom of the page you can see the cookie bar!
