Installing a new theme is an exciting way to refresh the appearance of your Shopify store. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on installing a theme package and uploading a theme to your Shopify store.

Step 1: Purchase a theme or download a free theme package from a trusted source.

Step 2: Unzip the downloaded ZIP file on your computer. 

Step 3: If the Theme has a multi-layout you should extract the Themes.zip file. and If the theme has a single layout then you just have to  Add Theme-name_theme.zip file into your store.

Step 4: Log in to your Shopify Admin Dashboard.

Step 5: Navigate to Online Store > Themes.

Step 6: Add any one zip file into your store.

Step 7: Click on “Add theme” and choose the extracted theme folder.

Step 8: Wait for the upload to complete.

Step 9: Find the newly uploaded theme in the Themes section.

Step 10: Click on the theme and select “Actions > Publish.”

Step 11: Confirm the activation to make the theme live on your store.
